New Brand Film: Dr. Phillips Charities | 150 Years of Legacy
What is legacy?
Dr. Phillips Charities partnered with Oxenfree to tell the life story and continued impact of Dr. P. Phillips (“Doc”), a 19th century citrus industry pioneer whose philanthropic efforts continue to shape Central Florida today. 🍊
Through archival footage projected onto Orlando landmarks, dynamic historical montages, and interviews with leaders in the Central Florida community, we designed a film that explores what legacy truly means: connecting the past, present, and future to tell a holistic story of Doc’s lasting influence.
The film premiered to over 2,000 people at Doc’s 150th Birthday Celebration at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, giving the audience an immersive look into who Doc was, what Dr. Phillips Charities does, and how Doc’s legacy will continue to shape Central Florida for generations to come.
